 Milton Keynes Theatre of Comedy are delighted to present this exclusive stage premiere: Written by former members of the Monty Python team, Michael Palin and Terry Jones, this classic BAFTA award-winning TV comedy series (originally shown in the late 1970's) has been exclusively adapted for the stage by David Pibworth. Three daft tales that take a gentle, comic dig at Boys Own adventure style stories and the "golden age of empire", mixed with satire and much silliness!

Ayckbourn celebrates 50 years of playwriting (1959-2009) Ayckbourn, the master of domestic comedy, believes his funniest play is Table Manners, part of his Norman Conquest trilogy first performed in 1973. To celebrate his anniversary Milton Keynes drama group Tread The Boards will present this hilarious comedy at two local venues. We have in the past presented the two other plays, Round and Round the Garden, and Living Together, so we complete the set with this production.

Lyndall Phelps: The Pigeon Archive
4th July – 30th August 2009
 Artist Lyndall Phelps' exhibition The Pigeon Archive, documents the re-enactment of pigeon manoeuvres undertaken during both World Wars, through photographs, film and other paraphernalia. In the Second World War it was recommended that every military aircraft leaving Britain carry two pigeons in case of emergency. If the plane was shot down, pigeons were dispatched carrying the survivor's coordinates for rescue.

BBC One's Antiques Roadshow Visits Bletchley Park

BBC ONE'S ever popular Sunday evening programme, The Antiques Roadshow will be filming for its 32nd series at Bletchley Park on Sunday 12 July, 2009. The doors open at 9.30 am and close at 4.30pm. This will be presenter Fiona Bruce's second year with the Roadshow and she says, “Presenting the Antiques Roadshow is for me, one of those rare and very lucky coincidences in television when you get to work on a show that you already love to watch.

Bletchley Park's ninth annual Polish Day on Sunday 19 July will celebrate the important contribution made by the Poles to the breaking of the Enigma Cipher. Bletchley Park remembers the three mathematicians who are commemorated on its Polish Memorial – Marian Rejewski, Henryk Zygalski and Jerzy Różycki. This year is the 70th anniversary of their contribution. Guided tours of Bletchley Park will be available in both Polish and English languages...

 'Qudduson' - For centuries the word 'Qudduson' has reverberated through the sacred music of East and West. In this new programme, The Clerks join virtuoso singers from Syria, each steeped in the traditions of Sufism, Islam and the Orthodox church. Together they explore music from different faith traditions in a dynamic conversation between Eastern and Western musical genres and techniques.

Campbell Park will, for the first time, host an open-air Shakespearean theatre production this summer courtesy of The Parks Trust. Residents and visitors to Milton Keynes will be able to enjoy a magical open-air performance of A Midsummer Night's Dream – one of Shakespeare's best-loved, romantic comedies. Spinal Injuries Association (SIA) Ride through India
Saturday 14th November
 On 14 November, for the first time, the Spinal Injuries Association (SIA), in Milton Keynes, promises to rescue self-confessed motorbike fans from their daily humdrum, and take them across India for a therapeutic 1825km ride on Royal Enfield Bullets. These classic bikes will carry fundraising volunteers through an 11-day Indian experience of a lifetime called the Rajasthan Motorbike Challenge.
