Aikido is a martial art used solely for self-defence, so uses no punches, blocks or kicks. It is non-combative, and can only be used if attacked. We welcome anyone to visit one of the dojo's on the specified training nights. Aikido is suitable for all age groups except the very young and doesn't require any particular level of fitness to get started. Aikido can readily be adapted for disabled people, including vision-impaired.
