MK Dons Women’s Football Academy
Following the success of the 07/08 season, we have now taken the Women’s Elite Squad to the next level!


As of September 08 it will be known as the MK Don’s Women’s Football Academy. Milton Keynes College are now the proud hosts of the 08/09 Seasons MK Dons Women’s Football Academy. Each player will receive 9 hours of playing and coaching time per week in addition to whatever course they are studying, with the added chance of completing an FA Coaching Award.

We are now recruiting for the 08/09 season due to start in September.

City Colts Football Club
The Milton Keynes Ladies Football Club, formed from the girls section of The Milton Keynes City Colts FC, are looking to expand at all age groups from U10 to U16, and plan next season to form a Ladies team to rival the rest. Playing at the Loughton Sports Pavilion some of the best pitches in the area why not come down and give football a try, experience is not necessary just enthusiasm, commitment and a desire to play football in a safe and fun environment. All our coaches are qualified and CRB checked, we have qualified child protection officers and full 1st aiders. The Club operates a full inclusion programme and has a strict anti-discrimination policy as well a robust code of conduct and anti bulling ethos. Milton Keynes City FC (MK City)
Milton Keynes City FC – (One of the oldest and largest football clubs in Milton Keynes)Entering our second season for our girls teams u12 and u14. We are establishing Girls football teams for ages from u10 to u16.

Our current u12 team was built from players who had never played for a previous football team, we now have 18 girls in the squad and potentially two teams for next season at u13; Diamonds have now completed a full season playing in the local Milton Keynes league, where they developed their skills and understanding of the game and had a lot of fun along the way.

Our u14 girls played in the BGFL 2007-2008 season and we hope to strengthen this age group next season. We will be starting new u10 and u12 age groups for the 2008-2009 season, so get in touch if you want to play in a girls football team at a well organised and friendly Charter Standard club.

Experience is therefore not essential, commitment to the team and enthusiasm to learn and play football is all you really need. Milton Keynes City FC teams will be playing in the Bucks Girls Football League next season, as we support this league in an attempt to establish a strong local girl’s team football league within the Milton Keynes area.

Heelands Rangers

Heeelands Rangers are the first all female Club to be awarded Charity Status. Reg Charity No. 1108688, in recognition of the advancements in girls football that we have made.

We have also become the first team to have a twining agreement with an EU Country. We have twinned with Lindome GIF in Sweden. They have just had a pre-season camp staying with our families in MK and we are taking two teams back there in July to stay in their homes and play in the Gothia Cup. The largest Tournament in the EU with 180,000 players entered from 15,000 teams. The Gothia Cup can be looked at on www.gothiacup.se

With it's Charity Status, Heelands Rangers are hoping to form as many teams as possible and will be playing their football in the new Border Counties Girl's Leagues based in MK. This is a big step forward for girls football in Milton Keynes and we hgope that many teams will enter into the Border Counties League.

Our Aim is the Child First, this means that there are no trials to enter and join the Club, Children of all levels will be encouraged to come and improve their football and to play in home and away games in a League that is affiliated to the FA. Our head Coach is UEFA B and more ladies are volunteering to do Coaching Courses which will help us to make Heelands Rangers to have all teams with female Managers and Coaches.

We have been helped in our growth this last year by the MK Community Foundation and without their help we would never have grown so fast. Our management Committee is full of committed parents and all of the parents have encouraged us to grow and grow.

We have been awarded the Standard Charter Award for an Adult Club and the Charter Award for our Youth teams. A first for Milton Keynes. We have also been awarded the FA Charter Standard Development Award.

Our Training is at Heelands Playing Field every Wednesday evening at 5:45 for the U10's.12's and 14's. 6:45pm for the U16's and the Seniors. Any player of any standard will be made welcome and we will provide teams for all age groups to play in.

Woburn Lionesses Ladies & Girls Football Club
Woburn Lionesses Ladies & Girls Football Club was formed in 2005 and is currently one of the fastest growing football clubs in Milton Keynes. With in excess of 70 girls registered we play football at under 9, under 10, under 11, under 12 and under 14. All teams are enjoying success playing either seven or nine-a-side, the under 12 team winning the 2008 Milton Keynes & District Junior 7’s Division 1 title.

We play our home games and train at Wavendon Gate School, Gregories Drive, Wavendon Gate, MK7 7RN. New players are always welcome including girls wanting to sign for the newly formed under 16 squad.
