Introduction to the Group
The Silbury Group (which takes its name from Silbury Boulevard in CMK) began in 1991 as a handful of professional,contemporary artists eager to make connections, to find studios, and to have somewhere to show their work. It has since evolved into one of the longest running artists collectives in the country and, with a consistent membership of around thirty, it continues to be led and administered by artists. The Group has an impressive record of exhibitions, international exchanges, residencies and educational and community projects. It also provides artistic links with local and national organisations.

Fed up of staring at dreary office walls? Want some colour in your working life? Why not hire some artwork from The Silbury Group? You can rent some original and impressive artwork at a fraction of the work's total value, and make your company's offices a more attractive and appealing environment for employees and visitors alike.The Silbury Group will present a selection of works for the client to choose from. Once the pieces have been selected, we frame, deliver and install the works in the client's premises. At the end of each leasing period the client has the option to purchase works for the selling price minus leasing fees already collected.
