 If so, consider joining Disciple Bible Study just as 50 people have over the past 4 years. Participants have emerged with a greater understanding of the broad sweep and wisdom of the Bible. When the course came to an end one participant commented, “The end of Disciple has left a big hole in my week, I really miss it.” It is a life-changing experience. Disciple involves daily reading of the Bible and the study notes plus meeting one evening each week to explore further. We take breaks to roughly coincide with school holidays. The daily commitment varies but averages out at about 30 minutes. It is hard work. It requires daily discipline, understanding, giving up a night a week, sharing with new people and there is a small financial commitment to cover the cost of the materials, but the satisfaction outweighs all that. Michael Dawson said, “After the longest, hardest day at work, I look forward to going, and this was my third year!” Consider joining the upcoming Disciple Bible Study group in the 2010-11 school year.
 The Mission Partnership is providing this ecumenical opportunity for Christians in Milton Keynes to study the Bible together. Disciple Bible Study gives people the opportunity to encounter the broad sweep of the Bible – from start to finish – and to discover the relevance of the Scriptures to everyday life in the 21st century. By the end of the course participants will have read approximately 70% of the Bible for themselves. The Milton Keynes course will meet on Tuesday evenings at a venue to be decided, led by experienced leaders.
