Milton Keynes based Domino's Pizza has scooped a top regional award for its new head office building at West Ashland. The British Council for Offices (BCO) Awards recognise excellence in office space. Domino's was awarded the title in the Projects up to 2,000m2 category for the South West, Thames Valley and South Wales.

The first ever MK Marathon was a storming success as thousands of runners braved a day-long British downpour on 29th April. One hundred relay teams of four signed up along with 4300 individual runners. Milton Keynes Council announced today that it has chosen Aspers as the winner of the competition to operate a new casino in Milton Keynes.The new 3,391-square metre casino will be located on the ground floor of Xscape Milton Keynes, in the heart of the city's leisure quarter. The casino will be accessed by a new external entrance created on the southern elevation of the Xscape building.

Although recent Eurozone events unnerved many, Mark Standish, Corporate Finance Director at Mazars in Milton Keynes shares his observations on trends set by previous European mid-market buyouts. “There will be a dramatic rise in the number of European business loans that reach maturity between 2013 and 2017. Most of the loans driving this trend were set up as part of LBOs (leveraged buyouts). Legal & General Property (LGP) has announced it is currently developing plans for a major £15 million enhancement to Midsummer Place Shopping Centre in Milton Keynes. The improvements, which could add 57,000 sq ft of new retail space to the centre, are designed to enable LGP to attract more international fashion retailers to the centre, further strengthening its existing tenant base, and also to create a new restaurant quarter bringing a higher quality food and drink offer. It is believed that the enhancements will also create significant local job opportunities.
