Media Release “Hospital News” wins Silver in the “Best Newspaper or Magazine” category for the CIPR Pride Awards 2009
Milton Keynes Hospital is celebrating after scooping Silver at this year’s prestigious CIPR (Chartered Institute of Public Relations) Pride awards. The CIPR PRide Awards recognise excellence in PR and communications across the UK. These awards grow year-on-year as consultancies and organisations increasingly recognise the benefits of industry awards, and past winners continue to reap the benefits of receiving one. The awards recognise excellence in communications and public relations throughout the UK and this year attracted more than 1,400 entries from across the country. The Hospital was judged in the Thames and Chiltern region, winning its award for Hospital News, the publication for members of Milton Keynes Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Paul Davison, Chair of CIPR Thames and Chiltern said: “A CIPR PRide Award is a hallmark of professionalism and success – it identifies, recognises and rewards the outstanding achievements of those working in the PR industry outside London. To win a CIPR PRide Award is a tremendous achievement and I congratulate all of this year’s winners.” Simon Roberts, Director of Strategic Development for Milton Keynes Hospital commented, “Winning this award is excellent news for Milton Keynes Hospital and rightly recognises the excellent work of the Communications Department in putting together a professional and informative publication for our Foundation Trust Members” For information on the CIPR Pride Awards 2009 visit http://ciprprideawards.com/ Click here for more on health in Milton Keynes Milton Keynes Local News Home Page
