Henry Winkler to Star in Panto at Milton Keynes Theatre

Milton Keynes Local News - Henry Winkler at Milton Keynes Theatre
Henry Winkler as Hiik
Milton Keynes Theatre has announced that legendary TV and film actor Henry Winkler of Fonz fame will be the bad guy you love to hate this Christmas as he takes on the role of the dastardly Captain Hook hoping to steal the show in this year's magical pantomime - Peter Pan

As one of the first American stars ever to be cast in a British pantomime by First Family Entertainment who produce the hugely successful show each year at Milton Keynes Theatre, Henry Winkler is delighted to be playing the perfect panto villain in the city this year - "Being in panto equals joy, and playing Captain Hook gives me joy. How great to share this fantastic adventure with the audience in Milton Keynes", he said.

Speaking about the announcement, Milton Keynes Theatre's Chief Executive Elizabeth Adlington said "We are extremely privileged that such an iconic international star will be enjoying the family pantomime tradition here in Milton Keynes, and I look forward to welcoming him to our theatre".

Starring alongside Henry will be hilarious comedian Andy Ford (Royal Variety Performance) as Smee, and further star casting is still to be announced so watch this space.

Peter Pan is at Milton Keynes Theatre from 5th December 2008 to 18th January 2009, and is the perfect adventure for kids, and adults who never never grew up!
