The safest place to enjoy water is a swimming pool, where the water is clear, clean and warm, the depth is known, and there are lifeguards present if things do go wrong.

There are two different pools in the centre. A 25 metre competition pool also a beached leisure pool suitable for children of all ages. There is a flume with separate splash tank and a wave machine to inject some fun into your swim, as well as a spa bath in which you can relax. Towcester Swimming Pool
This pool is one of only a handful of traditional lidos left for miles around and nestles close to the Woburn estate. It was in fact built by the Duke of Bedford in the early part of the last century to keep a smile on the face of the estate's workers and their families and it continues to be popular today.
The main pool and children's paddling pool are open from May to September from 10am to 7pm daily.

Eversholt Heated Open Air Pool
Just a short drive from Woburn, this is another fantastic place to spend a sunny day. The lovely warm pool is complimented by a children's play area for extra fun!

You can swim for £4 from Monday to Friday (£3 for under 16s) and for £1 more at the weekend.
A bit further away but an excellent pool. It boasts an indoor pool with slides and a 20m linked outdoor pool too. There are water jets, a flume slide, a lazy river, where you can just lay back and relax as the water carries you around, and a spa and bubble beds just for grown-ups.
A kids' play area, outside, make this a great location for a day out. The centre is open all year round from 9.30am to 10pm on weekdays, 8.30am to 8pm at the weekends. Prices vary depending on teh time you go.
