Karl Robinson is dreaming of guiding his Dons side into the quarter finals of the FA Cup – but he knows that Championship visitors Barnsley will provide tough opposition at stadiummk.

The Tykes travel to Milton Keynes on Saturday in excellent form to face a Dons outfit who have not won since the 4-2 fourth round heroics against Premier League QPR last month.

Robinson’s side have lost three and drawn one since that stunning performance at Loftus Road, whereas Barnsley have won their last four games in a row.

“We know we’ve got a game to play,” Robinson said.

“Barnsley have won four out of five games in the Championship and drawn one.

“For them to compete and do what they are doing against good sides, we know we’re in for a right good game.

“David Flitcroft has done a wonderful job since he’s taken over and we know we will have to be at our best.

“It will be a good old fashioned FA Cup tie on Saturday and I can’t wait.”
