Children delight in the Nursery and Toy Room. Other favourites include the 'gypsy' caravan, the 'bone shaker 'and 'penny farthing' bicycles. Jessie the Shire horse can often be seen working on the land or helping around the museum.

"Our Tram" ran between Wolverton and Stony Stratford. It pulled some of the largest tram cars ever built as well as being the last steam tram in the country.

The Milton Keynes Museum will never be finished, rather it will continue to develop and improve so there will always be something new to see. New additions are the labourers cottage, period shops, "Farming" in the rebuilt barn and the beginning of "New Milton Keynes"
