Places to Visit Around Milton KeynesTo develop the house into a residential conference and events venue, an extensive refurbishment programme has commenced. The property, which includes a lake and formal gardens, will feature a total of 47 bedrooms. Located in the main house the north and south wings, the bedrooms will cater for all residential events. Facilities will also include 4 meeting rooms for up to 25 theatre style, and 2 lecture halls for up to 98 theatre style, with one lecture hall featuring tiered seating. The venue will serve as an extension of The Royal Society’s already existing base in London, to host a wide range of scientific meetings and events. Chicheley Hall will also be open to both commercial and social markets to host events, such as team building, away days, both residential and non residential conferences, meetings and seminars in addition to weddings, social events, and bespoke lunches and dinners. The refurbishment will see the careful restoration and conservation of the original 18th century architecture, featured throughout the extensive property. Any profit made from events held at Chicheley Hall will be recycled back into The Royal Society’s work.
