Man robbed of £115 cash

PoliceA man was robbed of £115 on Sunday.

The 35-year-old man was walking along Silbury Boulevard near to the V8 junction on his way to the city centre at around 12.15am, when he was approached by a group of men at the underpass.

Two men stopped him and two or three others stood behind him to prevent him from turning back. One asked for 50p and when the victim told him he had no cash the offender took out a knife and again demanded money and his mobile phone. The victim handed over £115 in cash. A member of the public then cycled through, disturbing the group and causing them to run off towards the city centre.

The main offender is described as black, 20 to 24-years-old, 6ft to 6ft 2ins tall, and of medium build. He was wearing a black baseball cap with white writing, a dark green parker jacket and a scarf across his face. He had a foreign-sounding accent.

The second offender was black, 20 to 24-years-old, of stocky build and about 5ft 8ins or 5ft 9ins tall. He was wearing a dark coloured bomber jacket, a red beanie hat and had a scarf across his face. The others in the group were described as black, one man was wearing a red jacket, and the other a dark jacket.
