Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a man was robbed in Fishermead.

At about 2am on Wednesday the victim, a 21-year-old man, was walking along the Redway between Perran Avenue and Towan Avenue when he was approached by a black man and two white men wearing hooded tops.

He was punched by the black man and fell over. The offenders then stole cash and cigerettes from his pocket and ran off.

The offenders were all in their late teens to early twenties. The main offender is black, aged around 21 years old, 5ft 10 to 11ins, of skinny build. He had a dirty face with crusty white marks. He wore dark clothing, a dark shiny jacket and jeans. The other two offenders are white and were wearing hooded tops.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident. It is believed that other people were in the area at the time and police appeal for these people to come forward.

If you are one of the offenders, or have any information which may help with the enquiry, please contact DC Sam Reynolds at Milton Keynes CID via the 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre on 101.

If you don't want to speak directly to the police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at crimestoppers-uk.org. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court
