LLTCA Midsummer Night's DreamOur Next Production June 2008 A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare - June 2008A Midsummer Night's Dream is a romantic comedy by William Shakespeare written sometime in the 1590s. It portrays the adventures of four young Athenian lovers and a group of amateur actors, their interactions with the Duke and Duchess of Athens, Theseus and Hippolyta, and with fairies who inhabit a moonlit forest. The company was formed in 1977 by a professional actor - Dermot Lee Baker and it's objective was to stage high quality Theatre for the entertainment of the public, at the same time developing all the skills (directing, lighting, stage management, acting, sound, wardrobe, set design and construction) necessary for us to attain that objective.
