Milton Keynes has what is probably the widest range of housing of any new city in the UK. From old fashioned canal side properties to modern, urban houses, each area has its own particular personality. In Central Milton Keynes there is currently a huge amount of development. Loughton Parish is situated to the south west of the city centre close to the railway station which is in walking distance. 
The Shenleys are spread across the west side of MIlton Keynes, close to the the centre and contain great contrasts
Stony Stratford lies to the North-west of Milton Keynes and is an old market town with a fascinating history and diverse culture.
Oldbrook is situated adjacent to the city centre and a few minutes from the railway station. It is a well established area with some new developments and pleasant areas of open space.
Bradwell Abbey Parish consists of three residential areas: Two Mile Ash, Hodge Lea and Stacey Bushes. 
Giffard Park lies at the most north easterly corner of the city of Milton Keynes. Named after Giffard, a Domesday Landowner. The Street names come from places in the Thames and Chilterns eg. Bromham Mill, Rowsham Dell. It lies beside the Grand Union Canal
