Milton Keynes has one of the largest collections of publicly-sited art works in the country. In the development of the new city careful attention was given to the siting and commissioning of new artworks as a means of creating a sense of place and community, and the commissioning of new work has continued in recent years. There are now over 200 public works in the city.
artworks-mk is a crafts and art resource for artists and learners, offering a range of activities for all levels plus special art events and art exhibitions throughout the year in Milton Keynes.

A stunning piece of artwork sitting beside Furzton Lake. Triple Starhead 1987-93, which was displayed at Goodwood from 1994 to 1998, was exhibited outside the British High Commission in Ottawa, Canada, before the piece of art returned to Milton Keynes. 
THE SPACEis in the heart of Olney. The gallery is minimalist, functional, but welcoming. Artists come from as far away as New Mexico and Argentina, but also from London, Amsterdam and Lisbon, and closer to home, from Olney, Weston Underwood, Lavendon and Northampton.
